This must be a joke.
Was promised to receive my job paperwork 3 weeks ago(right after getting the job). Never got the paper, so I called Dana, then I was promised a call regarding it last Friday. Never got the call, but I got in contact with Dana again and I was told my "future" boss would call me Monday, and he did. He apologized for not having sent the job paperwork and promised that will send today for me to have a look and fax it back tomorrow. Guess what? I did not received the paper yet. I told him that I need to have it before I leave for Rio. So I can sign it and fax it back before the trip... I leave Wednesday...
Dana no need to apologize, it's not your fault. You helped me a lot as is.
It's just a bit scary. On previous job, I saw how lack of organization/commitment within the company's management turned out to be. Nothing would get done, people shifting blame, no motivation, etc... Now I'm not say it's like that, but could this be a prelude of things to come? Scary...

In my humble opinion, HR departments usually suck! When I got the job at ARC, they were supposed to send me the paperwork before I left for Guatemala, but they never did. I asked for the offer letter in an e-mail format, they said they would do it... I never go anything. When I came back, I had drive there to pick up the offer letter... not a good first experience.
