How is it possible for SOOO many young female teens have this much disposable income to shop on weekdays (shouldn't they be in school?) around trendy places like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc... I was taken to Shibuya 109 (Mall) to accompany her while she shops there. It's just weird. The place is PACKED with young female teens, with very rarely a guy here and there accompanying their girlfriends. It's like frantic young female teens shopping like the end of the world is coming or something. Now, this is not like Walmart, this is a "trendy" place (as it was explained by her). So where does all these disposable income comes from??? You think USA is consumer oriented, it doesn't beat Tokyo though. It's malls upon malls with frantic female teens buying clothes and accessories.
(TK is the nickname of a former work colleague, we thought it was funny to find a store named TK)
