Hectic, but extremely fun weekend.

So first week, was Ellie's week. We all devoted our time for our special friend because we love her that much!
Then second week comes, and well, it was Dana's week. However I did not even meet Dana on her week until the weekend.

We had planned to go to NYC for over a month. Me, Dana, and Andrea had all bought the tickets and we were ready to go. Tried to convince Misha to come along, but he did not want to :/

So Thursday night, actually, Friday morning, around 3AM I began sorting things out for NYC. I look for my party gear, and its nowhere to be found. Kept looking for it until around 6AM and I said f' it. I need to go to work, I had no time for this. I was supposed to do laundry, but I didn't. So I dress up for work and go. When I'm about to get into the car, I find my party gear on the seat. hahaha. Ok cool.

Work till 1PM, then I take a lunch break. Drive to the bank to get money, for bills. I had to leave the money at my brother's desk before going to NYC. After that, I drive to the bus ticket location. I ask for a one way ticket to NYC, which they did not have, so I had to buy the round trip ticket. Drive home, drop the money at my brother's desk, dump dirty laundry at the laundry machine, drive back to work. This ended up being a 2 hours deal. Yes, it meant I took a 2 hour lunch break. Back at work, I stay for 1 hour and 30 minutes and take off again. Although I was supposed to leave at 6PM, based on the bus schedule, I could not leave that late, so I just leave, just leave work like that...LEFT at 3:30PM. Get home, put the clothes in the drying machine.

The bus leaves from DC, so I have to get the metro, but I have no ride to the metro from my place... I called a friend, and luckily he was in the area and he was cool about giving me a lift to the metro. He comes early, so obviously the clothes were not dry yet. I wanted two particular shirts out from the laundry because, it was a matching shirt set that Dana bought to me as a gift. The plan was for me and Dana to wear the matching shirt at AvB. But the clothes were still wet.

Shower, dress up, and get the ride. I get 30 minutes before departure time at the bus station. One word advice, contrary to what Misha says, Chinatown bus are horrible. It's really ghetto. First of all the bus STINKS. The bus driver is smoking and eating buffalo wings, with his hands... The passengers didn't help either, they had carry out food in the bus. I'll go as far as having a small bag of chips or something, but carry out food, is just too much...

Put my Ipod on, and try to take a nap, because I really needed some sleep for the long night. The bus was late 30 minutes, but not horribly. At least I got to sleep for a good 2 hours.

Dana is at Pastis, so I get a cab and call Andrea to to meet us there. Poor Andrea was about to sleep, because we were taking too long.

I get to Pastis, and it's pretty late. So I call Andrea to not leave the cab once she gets there, and we will use the same cab to go to Crobar.

We get to Crobar, and there are problems. There is a HUGE f'king like to get into Crobar. At first we began to stress out a little bit, because we bought tickets online, yet there is a huge line, so what was the purpose of buying tickets online? But after about 30 mins, me and Andrea, didn't care, we were "happy campers" :P

Luckily, this guys was selling hard tickets, not those online ones we had to print out. Those were immediate admission. So on top of the $37 we already had paid for the online tickets, we shelled out $40 each for the hard tickets, and we get in. Now we were REALLY happy campers. While waiting for Dana drop her stuff at coat check, me at Andrea were chilling by the photo booth. Once Dana is done, we all take photos there.

I guess I don't have to explain the rest of the night. It was a lot of fun.

By 6AM I'm dead, ready to go, but AvB kept playing till 8:30AM, Andrea didn't want to leave, so we stayed. Of course, she needed the "worship" time :P After everything was over, I gave Dana my Ipod and a permanent marker to have AvB sign the back of my Ipod. You know Ipod U2 edition?

Andrea apparently spent all her money, so I give her $20 so she can get a cab back home. Dana, wanted to take the bus, but seriously, both me and Dana needed to CRASH OUT, bus seats are way too small, so we get the train, which means, LARGE seats, and lots of leg room. We basically crash out as soon as we get our seats.

Misha pick us up at Union Station, we go back to Misha, order some Chinese food, eat, and crash out again.

Wake up around 6:30PM, lazy out for a while, and go to the movie theaters to watch Wedding Crashers, recommendation from Dana. The movie was hilarious. hahah.

After it, we make a quick stop at Misha, so Dana could put up some make up, and we go to FUR. We get there around 11:30PM. There is a huge line to get in. The line wasn't as big a NYC block type line for Crobar, but it was still a DC block size line. But no more of that, I didnt want a repeat of NYC, so I work my contact at the club, and cut the line. hahah, it took us about 3 mins to get in, while all those people at the line, all they could do, was wait...

Me and Dana was having a lot of fun, but I think Misha was extremely tired and not enjoying it, so we left early. At home, Misha crashed, but me and Dana were starving, so she cooked, which was just an amazing fish dish, by the way. Then we all crashed.

Sunday; wake up, shower and take Dana to the airport. But before the airport, we stopped at the Tombs for a quick meal for old times sake.

Dana was sad she was leaving, but she will be back. She can't stay away from this place for too long.
