Okay, I am assumeing that although I was pretty happy on Friday and something could have slipped, it isn't me because you are still emailing me. When you get pissed at someone, you stop talking to them.
Actually, your comment only applies to people who don't want the friend to find out! Sometimes you use the gossip chain to ENSURE people find out.
So, not quite sure what it is, but I will bet you 100 bucks that the person who can't keep his/her mouth shut believes the criticism, but is too big of a pussy to tell you what he/she thinks.
Rather than tell you something directly, he/she then just tattles on the person who originally said it, so the message will get to you but the blame falls on them.
