So I got tonsillitis. Those that had this before knows how damn painful it is. I can't eat, drink, talk. I have bouts of fever and general pain through the body. I have been on Excedrin Maximun Strenght round the clock. Although it helped on the first day, now I feel the unberable pain. I was supposed to go to Upstate NY for my "last weekend" with friends up in the montains, but now I can't do that. I need to get better so I can DRIVE to California before work starts...
So I was hoping for the tonsillities to go away by itself, but it got worse. The uvula got swollen and is resting on my throat, obstructing airflow for breathing. So I started to take antibiotics today, and hopefully by Sunday the pain should be bearable for me to make the drive to California. Because right now the pain is so great, its distracting my attention, making me unable to drive.

I know how it feels, I've suffered from it before also. I know it is really hard to swallow, but drinking carbonated beverages do help a bit. I hope you get better soon :)
