I know I haven't been updating on a daily basis, but no one can really complain, because it would be hypocritical.
I find it funny when people tell me "What happened to your blog, why are you not updating?" Well, maybe because I'm unmotivated because no one else does? Could be one of the reasons. I don't know, it just sounds funny when people somewhat demands when they are not updating themselves.
Bottom line is that, I'm busy. Not only that, but I get back home really stressed from work. Today Steve saw what I meant. After a ridiculous day at work, I just want to rest, chill, unwind. I don't want to have to remind myself of the horrible day and put that on writing, in my blog. So I come home and just put my mind into a vegetative mode for a couple of hours, then hit gym. Also try to watch some movies or just read the news off the internet.
Last Saturday was just crazy, like Clecia said, I totally "lost the line". But I was talking about this with Alan, how we enjoy to go out on weekends. I don't know if its some form of liberation/freedom after a week of work, or something else, but we actually feel bad if we don't go out on the weekend. I didn't go out on Friday, mainly because my friends failed to call me back to give the address. Alan didn't go out for other reason, but well we both felt that not going out on Friday sucked.
Steve came to visit Monday, and he is leaving to NYC to visit Ricardo today, after that he is going to Detroit, the last part of his trip. I kind of feel bad that I wasn't able to do much with him, since he got here on week day, and my car being broken, he was stuck for most of the day. But we got to chill and catch up on stuff.
This Saturday my boss sister will be arriving here in DC, and I will have to be the "host/guide" for the night. Not a chore, but it won't be easy since I got no car. He was saying they were planning on riding the metro anyways, so I guess I'll do the same. I'm trying to get a hang of what his sister likes so she doesn't waste her limited time here in DC going to places she might not enjoy. My boss is totally bar type with occasional urges for clubbing. The only place he went club wise was Dream, which is not really a good place to intro someone into DC nightlife. Supposedly Kates is more of a loungy type person, which would be much easier for me to plan something out. She loves sushi, so maybe Dragonfly and then hit the lounges in that area.
Then Dana is coming the weekend after, which due to my car being broken, she will have to rent a car. I will chip in, since she is going to have to drive me around... But I'm sure it will be good times. She will pick me up Friday after work, and then it's out till Sunday.
I got a haircut yesterday, and it's very short, like military style. My coworker had to joke, "Did you join the Korean military?" Yes, it's that short. I was basically thinking on getting a short haircut for the upcoming warmer days, but oops, I guess its too short. Well I don't care.
I was reading the news, and the Kyrgyzstan presidential palace was overrun by opposition protesters. President Askar Akayev, Sadaat's father, haven't been seen in public since Tuesday. I hope Sadaat is doing ok, I wish I could call her but I don't remember where I put her phone.
Behave kids.
PS: Another friend, Fe, started blogging. Though, all her content is in Portuguese. Her blog link is "Garota Versatilidade."
