PS:
Dana, I never thought as if you are implying anything, don't be sorry. I was just mentioning how like yourself, I like to keep track of many statistical information and create a database out of it. But when it comes to money, I just SPEND, AND SPEND. That is how I was raised, its an old habit. hehe

Regarding defraging your computer, you can always use the defragmenting tool that came with Windows XP, but I would recommend purging any temporary files before doing it, or organizing your files first. For example, if you have a bunch of files scattered around, but you want to organize in neat folders first, then do that, and using "Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ Disk Cleanup program first. Check the box of offline data, and check everything else, of course choose Drive C: on the drop list menu, and press ok. Now if yu haven't cleaned your disk for a while, it will take a LOT of time, it will seem like that your computer froze, but no, if you haven't done the clean up in a while, it will take quite somtime, a couple of hours. I recommend start the process before going to bed and let it run. Then in the morning run the defrag program before you go to work and let it run the whole day. To access Windows defrag program, right click on C: drive icon, and choose properties, one of the option there is to defragment the hardrive. If you want I can send you a better defrag program. This particular program makes it so that it will take longer for the hard drive to get fragmented again, and also defragments faster than windows default defrag program.
Regarding partition, you don't have to worry about it, I hardly doubt you have a parition program. And about Picasa, Picasa has been free for quite a while, and Picasa 2 also being free was expected.

US House of Representative has visited your site back then, not Ellie's. You are mixing stuff around. hahaha
