Yesterday's workout still pains me. Muscles are really contracted, but that is a good sign. I kind of fell off the wagon for a couple of days, I really need to get myself into the old gym discipline. Work is really putting a damper on the whole work out thing, not because it tires me to death, but I come home stressed out. Plus I eat a lot of junk for lunch at work. Before, when I was not working, I could hit gym twice a day, now I really can't do that anymore. I had so much free time back then... I could hit gym for cardio in the morning and weights at night. My gimpy gym from my building isn't cutting it anymore. I'm not able to isolate the muscles on that machine, so I've started to lift weight at home, with a bench and dumbbells.
Lately I've been following a blog from a "NPC Figure Competitor" which motivates me to keep on with the workouts. She posts all her workout routines and diet tracking there. Not that I follow her exact routines, because I believe her objectives are different than mine, but it still gives me motivation. You know, when you see someone motivated and disciplined about something, you feel like dedicating yourself more to it.
I got another message from Orkut, hehe once again, from a friend I haven't seen in a long while. It's always a good surprise!
Misha is still trying to set up the dinner, I hope the weather doesn't affect the event again. Last time me, Alan, Carlos, Karthik and Brenda was supposed to go, but I think everyone called him to let him know that due to weather we wouldn't be going. Well, I would go of course, because I love to drive on the snow, but certain people must be present.
Armin van Buuren will be spinning at Avalon in Boston on Arpil 1st, which I think Sodo's sister would enjoy a lot, then the day after, April 2nd, he will be spinning at Glow in DC. That would be for us, DC people, Dana, and possibly Steve as well.
Of course there is March 26th, which will be Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Steve was hinting me that, if the finances allow, we should go. The main DJ's will be Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, and Erick Morilo. Spring Break anyone? Oh yeah, couple of days before Ultra Music Festival, there is Winter Music Conference. It's the major Electronic Music Festival in US. Of course, it's in Miami. They get all the goodies down there. The only problem with Winter Music Conference, is that they haven't posted their list of DJs yet, which is quite odd. Usually they book DJ's months ahead.
I miss dancing. Go to clubs and everyone is basically talking. I mean club means dancing, if you want to talk only, go to a bar. Sometimes I like to go to clubs and have my vodka redbulls and just dance away, not worry about anything else, and just release that energy. Have that loud trance going, and just dancing to it. But, oh well...
Supposedly, Sodo's sister brought my picture from my trip to Beijing and Mongolia with her to US and she will be sending it to me. So as soon as I get them, I will scan them and upload on my blog.
Something for Dana and Ellie or any girls out there. I'm sure you are all familiar with the stereotype that women can't drive. Well here is an article where "Scientists explain why some women have problems parking." No bra burning please. ;)
Behave kids.
PS: Yes, Ellie, I'm back at CompUSSR, at least temporarily.
PS 2: I'm getting retarded, it's the second time I forget to turn the lights off on my car in a span of one week. Had to have a co-wroker jump start my car again!
