Photo management. (For people that takes millions and millions of photographs like myself.)

When I first started using Hello for picture posting on my blog, I started using their main software called Picasa. I really liked the layout and its way of managing photo album. It had some editing features too. Then Google bought Picasa, now just yesterday I think, they came out with Picasa 2. I got to say I'm really impressed with their second version. If you have seen my desktop screenshots from ealier posts, I have Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0, ACDSee, Sony Picture for photo management, but I really only use Picasa, because I think its the best one out there. The interface is very "clean", intuitive and has Hello/Blogger integration. On the Picasa 2 they really improved what was already good. There is a whole lot more editing features, integrated photo library backup system(CD/DVD), "gift CD" which creates a CD with slideshow (the recipient doesn't need anything other then pop the CD in their CD-Rom),and much more. Best of all, its free. hahaha.

So try it out.

I only used hello to post pictures up on my blog, and I never thought of using picasa. I just keep all my pictures in different event folders, but as our IT consultant/engineer recommends it I think I am going to use it!

I always thought you had to pay for Picasa! But I agree with Ellie, if it has a recommendatin from you, it has to hold weight!!
