I hate to see meaningful words hickjacked for political propaganda. Independence Ball? Freedom Ball? Democracy Ball? Liberty Ball? I'm sure these words are debatable regarding Bush's domestic and foreign policy. These words should be left alone when there is a huge wide division regarding our government. Hijacking these words as mean of political propaganda is simple despicable.
I mean even military operations names are following this pattern after Bush got elected. Rolling Thunder, Desert Fox were types of names previously used for military operations. Now its Iraq Freedom and Enduring Freedom. I believe if your actions truly show freedom in the making, then you dont have to name it "freedom" yourself. Others will know. Usually self naming with something grand means, lack of confidence on yourself. And I'm sure that is what Bush is doing, but still doesn't change that it's a despicable and somewhat humorous course of action.
